"March ATC's" - Vicki, Jennifer, Tina and Robin

This month was a fun challenge for me to step out of my girly comfort zone and create an industrial themed Dusty Attic ATC. Metal and glass came to mind for this project so I decided to create that look on some leftover chipboard parts (the casings) of the French Garden Border (DA0845) and the Corner Flourish #2 (DA0629), as well as a set of Mini Wings (DA0783). I started by texturizing the flourish piece with texture effects paste, then added several metallic distress stains. I layered 3 little scraps of Prima's Engraver papers from my March Swirlydoos kit and then added the other 2 chipboard pieces and the metal junkyard findings bits.

On the wings, I used gesso, ink and glass bead gel. For the portion of the French Border casing, I painted it with Soot paint (DA0925) and topped it with Clear Crackle Varnish (0900).

Thanks for dropping by the blog to view my project today!

I have used the new ATC Frame and Pen Nib to complete my ATC
The 3D ATC popped into my mind straight away
Dusty in colour paints have been used as well as rusting powder
to get this affect on the piece - finished off with that cute
metal embellishment !

I used a Steampunk theme for my ATC today.  I used metal gears to accentuate the gears in my patterned paper.  I decided to add flowers for a touch of femininity.

I finshed my design by layering Morrocan Accents.  I painted the bottom piece with Dusty in Colour -  Sunburst Orange (DA0906).  I then added the top piece which was painted with Dusty in Colour - Crushed Olice (DA0917) and topped with Clear Crackle Varnish.  Once dry, I added Cinnamon Stickles to the outside of the base.

I hope you give this fun theme a try!

Tina
WOW - Industrial was a theme that really pushed my limits!
I love all of the Dusty Attic Chippies though that can be used for this.
I used the
Mini Cogs DA0689 and the Checker Plate DA0742
